Dr Scilla Elworthy developed the Business Plan for Peace, a practical methodology for the systematic prevention of armed violence, based on decades of experience worldwide. Business Plan for Peace shows examples of how impact investors, businesses or insurers can profitably support local peace-building initiatives in fragile states where they have interests, enabling greater security for their operations. Currently, according to the Phenix Capital report of April 2019, Sustainable Development Goal 16 – for Peace - of the United Nations is the least invested of all the SDGs, and it is of course the one on which all other SDGs depend!
